This is MIDIBear, which is a quick prototype for infants to play music/sound.
My design challenge is, HOW MIGHT WE DESIGN A MIDI FOR INFANTS (0 - 3 months) TO PLAY MUSIC/SOUND?
By shadowing my boy, who is only 7 weeks old, I find he is not able to even move his hands properly. But he can move his head properly when sound or light comes to him. He is a typical user for this product.
So my solution is creating an user interface which adapting the rolling heads to play music/sound for infants. When Infants roll their heads on this MIDI, they can play with the sound from GarageBand.
